Whilst all efforts are made to ensure accuracy of description, specifications, quantity and pricing there may be occasions where errors arise. Should such a situation occur The Haywood Collection cannot accept your order. In the event of a mistake you will be contacted with a full explanation and a corrected offer. The information displayed is considered as an invitation to treat not as a confirmed offer for sale. The contract is confirmed upon supply of goods.


All of our payments are processed by the secure PayPal system. This means that we do not have access to or collect any credit or debit card information and just to give you an added level of security our site also has an SSL certificate.

All payments will be subject to fraud screening checks, this is to protect both you the customer and us from possible fraudulent transactions. The result of these checks may require us to contact you or we may reject the transaction.

Product Descriptions

The Haywood Collection attempt to be as accurate as possible however we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content is accurate complete reliable, or error free.

From time to time there may be information on thehaywoodcollection.com that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing and availability.

We reserve the right to correct any errors inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. (Including after you have submitted your order) We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.

All product images are for illustration only and may be magnified to show product details. All product size information will be in the item description.


We try and bring you the finest gemstones that we can and many of these will have industry accepted treatments such as Ruby, Sapphire, Aquamarine and Tanzanite being heat treated and fracture filling with oil or resin in Emerald. We aim to avoid using stones that have been treated beyond this but cannot guarantee that the gemstones have not been subjected to additional treatments. As with any treatment, it may affect the durability of your gemstones so care must be taken when wearing them.

Unless specifically mentioned that a gemstone has not been treated, please assume the stone has been treated in the ways mentioned above.


Prices and availability of items are subject to change without notice the prices advertised on this site are for orders placed and include VAT and delivery.

Order Cancellation

In compliance with the Distance Selling Regulations all customers have a 14 day cancellation period in which they can cancel their order. Please contact us in writing within the 14 day period to notify us that you wish to cancel your order. If your order has not been dispatched then we will refund and cancel your order, if you have received your order then please see our Returns Policy for details of how to return your order.


We try to make the delivery process as simple as possible and your able to send your order either you home or to your place of work.

Delivery times are calculated in working days Monday to Friday. If you order after 2 pm the next working day will be considered the first working day for delivery. In case of bank holidays and over the Christmas period, please allow an extra two working days.

We aim to deliver within 3 working days but sometimes due to high order volume certain in sales periods please allow 4 days before contacting us. We will attempt to email you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

All orders are sent out via the Royal Mail Special Delivery service, which will require a signature, if you are not present a card will be left to advise you to pick up your goods from the local sorting office.

Each item will be attempted to be delivered once. Failed deliveries after this can be delivered at an extra cost to you or you can collect the package from your local post office collection point.

Returns Policy

While we are sure that you will love your item, there are times when a customer may wish to return an item. At Diamond Avenue we have set up our returns policy to be as hassle free as possible. If you wish to return your item then please contact us in writing (our contact form or e-mails are accepted) within 14 days of receiving your item so that we can authorise your return before sending it back. Any unauthorised product returns may cause a delay in your return being processed and in some circumstances not being refunded.

Returns will take may take up to 5 working days to process once the goods have arrived. Items must be in unworn condition, with all original boxes, gift bags and packaging materials.

When returning your item please send it back via the Royal Mail Special Delivery service as this is the only service that insures jewellery. If a customer chooses to send an item back via a different service they do so at their own risk. Diamond Avenue will not be held responsible if the item gets lost or damaged in transit. The customer is responsible for all return postage costs. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights and have been made to abide by UK Distance Selling Regulations.

If you would like to exchange your item, then please contact us in writing (e-mails accepted) within 14 days of receiving your item to allow us to process your request.

When exchanging an item we (The Haywood Collection) need to cancel your original order and you (the customer) will then need to place a new order for the item you would like. This can be done one of two ways:

The first is that you place an order for the item you would like and we then refund your original transaction when we receive the item back or you can return your original order before placing your new order.

Please let us know which way you would like to proceed when contacting us.

If you are returning items for exchange please be aware that a postage charge may apply.


For reasons of hygiene and public health, refunds/exchanges are not available for earrings (this does not apply to faulty goods). All of our earrings are supplied in sealed bags and can be returned if still sealed, if this seal is broken then they cannot be returned.

Incorrect/Damaged Goods

We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive your products ordered. Please contact us. In the unlikely event that the product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact The Haywood Collection immediately, this will be given special priority and we will contact you to arrange an exchange or refund. All return delivery charges for incorrect or faulty goods will be refunded back via the payment provider you used.

Export restrictions

At present The Haywood Collection only sends goods within the UK.

Conditions Of Use

The Haywood Collection provide their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit our shop at diamondavenue.co.uk you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully, The Haywood Collection controls and operates this site from its offices within the UK. The laws of England govern claims relating to including the use of, this site and materials contained.

If you choose to access from another country you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local lands.

License and Site Access
